We offer professional coding services, consulting and technical expertise at reasonable rates to 3rd party companies that seek to create innovative, immersive interactive experiences for mobile platforms (iPhone, Android), the web or the desktop.
Our development experience include the development and integration of native code solutions on iOS, Android, Windows and OSX as well as JavaScript bindings on web technologies. We make use of this experience to unleash the full potential of the target platforms to allow us to bring your product visions to life and make those aspects shine that it desires to be successful.
We focus our service efforts at two technologies primarily:
- For interactive 3D and 2D media experiences, we work with the powerfull crossplatform technology Unity which is able to target Windows, OSX, Webbrowsers (Facebook), Android and iOS as well as the current generation consoles and soon Flashs new 3D API. We have extensive experience with many of the available 3rd party extensions for Unity including networking backends like Photon, uLink and Smart Fox Server to allow your application to provide exactly the experience to your users that you had in mind!
- For more application alike tasks, we make use of Appcelerator Titanium which allows us to easily bring your envisioned experience to various platforms with limited platform dependent code only, allowing us to operate on considerably smaller budgets than other technologies allow it.
We are continously evaluating new technologies as they become available to always offer state of the art services in the field of interactive media, entertainment and experiences.
Public Past Work with Unity, seperated by platform
Multiplatform
- [2011 - 2012] Development of a novel online experimentation platform under lead and supervision by Andrey Liscovich from the IQSS at Harvard powered by Photon 3's LoadBalancing technology and Unity
The work involved the following tasks:
- Design and implementation of the architecture
- Design and implementation of webservice communication and the communication protocols
- Implementation of a simple Mathematica execution capability through the Photon LoadBalancing GameServers
- Design and implementation of a library of complex custom uScript nodes for usage through the platform users in a simple and focused way
Desktop
- [2010] Reign of Steel
Reign of Steel is a 3D interactive tank battle game played directly within the browser which features superb visuals
and a rich, compilleing design.
The work involved the following tasks:
- Design and implementation of the architecture
- Design and implementation of the networking and data syncronization including related aspects
- Design and implementation of webservice communication, client data models and data model serialization - [2010 - 2011] Worked with Living Artz as programmer on a major 3D online virtual community project that recreates realistic physical environments into a virtual 3D experience for users with varying learning capabilities as a real world training environment developing life lessons and social skills (Predefined text. Detailed informations will be added as the NDA will be lifted)
iPhone
- [2011] Worked with eSpin Games on Banana Quarrel (http://itunes.apple.com/ch/app/banana-quarrel!/id484654444?mt=8)
The work involved the following tasks:
- Code development
- Code architecture design
- Code optimizations
- Basic level design
- [2011] Code development and mobile optimization on Bath Time by Dadanko Studios
- [2010] Architecture design and creation of a webservice driven mobile 3D Expo Guide for iOS. This was created for the HGK, a branch of the Fachhochschule Nordostschweiz (FHNW) in Switzerland. The guide makes heavy use of GUI elements in various ways (searchable list, navigation bar, dropdown overlays, dynamically size adapting cell views, ...) yet ran fluently at any point.
The work involved the following tasks:
- Design and implementation of the architecture
- Creation of a client side JSON webservice layer and data serialization
- Performant download and caching of dynamic images, student and project profiles for visualization - [2009 - 2010] Partial to complete development work for several released and currently in development non-game titles for the Encyclopedia Suite which can be found on the Apple AppStore
The work involved the following tasks:
- Design and implementation of the architecture
- Development of fluent interactions under heavy load situations for older iOS device generations - [2010 - 2011] Yet unreleased iOS game title for Ahloyan Limited targeted at the iPhone and iPad
The work involved the following tasks:
- Design and implementation of the architecture
- Implementation of the UI system to visualize state and interaction
- Implementation of physics driven challenges - [2012] Development of Banana Rumble for eSpin Games
The work involved the following tasks:
- Design and implementation of the code
- Basic level design - [2012] Development of Afterland for Imaginary Games
The work involved the following tasks:
- Design and implementation of multiple client - server architectures with Unity 3D and Player.IO
- Development of the database datamodels and its integration in the server
- Integration of multiple login paths including an own login and facebook.
- [2009 - 2012] Several plugins for Unity driven iPhone projects to make use of the iPad library, complex view overlays, local notification, custom url calling support and many other things. From 2009 through to its end of life in 2010 I've also handled the Google Group Support for stinkbots 'Unity Enhancement Pack', a commercial collection of powerfull functions allowing unity to interact with the iOS to take pictures and loading them as textures, having a second splash screen, playing videos among over a dozen other features.
